I'm very excited to be heading back to the wonderful children's bookstore Eight Cousins on Saturday , Aug. 6th at 11AM. We will be doing some car decorating and having a theatrical reading of My Side of The Car. I hope if you are on the Cape next weekend, you will stop by.

Publication day today! Unfortunately, I couldn't sleep on my side of the bed last night, so I'm a bit bleary eyed, but mighty thrilled with this third collaboration with my father/ This one, our most personal, is based on a true story form my childhood.

I'll be at the Banbury Cross Children's Bookshop on Tuesday, December 14th at 6pm. The wonderful store is located in Wenham, MA. Hope to see you there. 20% of proceeds from sales at this event go to the Hamilton-Wenham Public Library!

I'm hyperventilating about this one. I am so excited to hear and meet all the amazing talents that will be there. Please join me and Coleen Murtagh Paratore for a Kid Lit Scavenger Hunt at the fabulous Eight Cousins bookstore in Falmouth on Saturday, July 17th at 11 am. Coleen is a best-selling author and delightful person. Her newest books are Sweet and Sunny and Wish I Might: from the life of Willa Havisham. My daughter Maddy loves her books.

Then on Tuesday, July 20th, from 10am-12pm, Coleen and I will be in Brewster at the Brewster Book Store.

My Mom is Trying to Ruin My Life, the play, yes that's right, the play, will be having its first run-throughs at The Vineyard Playhouse in June. The Playhouse artistic director MJ Bruder Munafo has adapted the story. This is a workshop production, so we can keep working on it. We just held auditions (more…)
